Striving to meet the needs of farmers across the globe, Great Plains International is designing, developing and testing innovative equipment that is capable of 3 meter transport and has CE certification.

Three meter transport options from Great Plains features models across all product lines. In tillage Great Plains offers the Disc-O-Vator, Turbo-Chisel and Sub-Soiler. The latter two tools utilize the vertical tillage technology touted by the company. The drill family with 3 meter transport includes the V300, a high capacity mechanical seeder. Two models of Spartan air drills are available in working widths of six and nine meters and both fold to 3 meters for transport. View our entire line of 3-meter products here.

The newest European model is the Centurion cultivator drill. The Centurion is the first joint engineering project between Great Plains’ Kansas-based development team, and Great Plains Simba’s Sleaford, Lincolnshire based team. It will initially be offered in 4m and 6m versions. Designed to set new standards in productivity, efficiency and operating economy, the Centurion delivers superb drilling accuracy, consistent seed placement and reliable depth control across a wide range of soil types and conditions. Simba Great Plains, Great Plains wholly-owned subsidiary in Sleaford, also features a robust line of CE certified and 3 meter transport tillage equipment.

A large presence at Agritechnica 2011 as well as the CE certification of nearly all 3 meter transport models exemplifies Great Plains commitment to the European market. Great Plains and Simba Great Plains exhibited 13 machines in nearly 600 square meters of booth space at Agritechnica.

“CE Certification is another big step in us becoming a major player in Western Europe agriculture,” explains Daniel Rauchholz, President of Great Plains International. “Our Simba operation in Sleaford gives us a great European home base. We have a new exclusive dealer in Czech Republic. Demos and field trials are going well in Germany and France. The momentum we are creating in Western Europe is very exciting.”
