Great Plains is strengthening the team supporting its exports across Europe with the appointment of Corinne Byron as Export Co-Ordinator with responsibility for France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Corinne, who moved to Britain after marrying a British soldier, has a background in banking and speaks both German and French.

She will play a key role in supporting the company’s team of Territory Managers working in these countries, processing orders and arranging the logistics of moving machines, and work alongside Danielle Pole, who will assume the same role for other European export markets:

“I am a newcomer to the farm machinery business. My mother is Belgian and I grew up in the German speaking part of Switzerland, but at home we spoke French, so being able to speak both languages should be a real help”.

ANOTHER fresh face at the Great Plains Sleaford factory is Manuela Dummer (pictured right) , who has joined the company’s engineering team as a CAD Designer.

Born in Germany, Manuela has lived in Britain for seven years, and has broad experience of using such systems for everything from landscaping gardens through to engineering applications like making industrial boilers.
