With its export business continuing to grow healthily, Great Plains is now developing dedicated teams – with some members based at Sleaford and others in the field – to support its dealers and clients in a range of European markets.
The first team is taking shape now, and preparing to support the company’s business in Germany and France, with Corinne Byron being based at Sleaford, while Daniel Rakers and Christophe Muller provide service and support to dealers and customers in the field.
“Forming dedicated teams like this will help achieve better co-ordination of activities, and ensure our dealers and customers continue to receive an excellent standard of service and support as our business grows”, says Simon Revell, Great Plains’ Exports Director for Western Europe.
“We will be appointing new dealers in parts of Germany where we do not currently have coverage in the New Year, and it is essential to provide excellent support to them.
“Corinne will look after all the administration for these two countries, liaising with dealers on their requirements, and handling all contact with our accounts, production, spare parts and other staff, including the service staff based in the markets.
“Daniel and Christophe are already being trained up in the UK, and will spend time at Great Plains’ factories in the New Year so they are familiar with the full product range they may be asked to support.
“They both live in Germany – Daniel in the North West and Christophe in the middle of the country – and will be providing product support principally in that market. However their expertise will be used wherever needed in various neighbouring markets and further afield if the need arises”.
