The first two Centurion drills to be sold in France will go to work this year, reports Pierre-Arnaud Noiret, Territory Manager France, who expects current interest in the marketplace to produce more orders soon:
“The first couple have gone to farmers in the Saone-et-Loire department, one of whom is an individual running a 500ha arable farm and the other to a group of three farmers who run their farms together in a 700ha enterprise.
“Both farms had previously run Great Plains drills imported from America, so they are confident in the accuracy and reliability of the company’ seeding techniques.
“We have already completed some excellent demonstrations with the drill, and one of these customers made his decision to buy it based on its performance over 70 hectares on his farm last autumn.
“We have also shown it in the West of France, and will continue next spring. The idea is to show the drill right around the country, because we think it has big potential”.
