Sleaford is an agricultural town of 14,500 people and home to Great Plains’ first overseas manufacturing plant. After acquiring Simba International in April 2010, Great Plains has made significant investment into the Sleaford campus, including increasing the manufacturing space by 37% to a total of 11,800 sq/m (127,014 sq/ft). The offices and stores were also substantially extended and refurbished. Sleaford is the hub for Western Europe operations and includes about 100 staff dedicated to parts, manufacturing, R&D and sales. Products produced here include all Simba tillage models and the Centurion Cultivator Drill.
